12/17/05… The Friends of Christmas Nativity Scene was put back on display this morning amid the gathering of supporters and a cameraman from a local station. Friends of Christmas thanks everyone that made calls, attended and assisted in both set-ups of the display, sent emails and spoke to their family, friends and neighbors. We’ve received supportive emails from this site and thank you for those, too. Now it’s time to contact Mayor Dicks and let him know how much you appreciate the City doing the right thing. 12/16/05… The City of Plant City has decided to issue a permit! The Nativity Scene will be resurrected tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. News crews are expected to cover it. Feel free to join us in Plant City.
12/16/05… Fox TV Channel 13 interviewed Dr. J.L. Richter – will be aired at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Channels 28 and 62 want interviews, too.

12/15/05… 6:00 p.m… See photos of the removal here. We have the Nativity Scene back in our possession. The Tampa Tribune has interviewed the FOC and the story will appear in tomorrow’s edition.
12/15/05… 12:45 p.m… Our Nativity Scene was removed this morning by the City of Plant City under direction of the City Management and we are currently unable to locate it. Photos of the removal will be added to the site later today! Christ is apparently not welcome at the “Welcome Center”.
12/14/05… 8:45 p.m… The Friends of Christmas Nativity Scene was displayed in downtown Plant City at the “Welcome Center”, where other holiday decorations were also displayed.
